  • Най-големия измерен "g", при който е оцелял човек, е 214g. Изпитан е от Kenny Bräck през 2003 година при инцидент в спортно състезание с автомобили в Тексас, Съединени американски щати.
  • "g" се измерва с акселерометър.
  • "g", въздействащо върху стационарен обект, стоящ на земната повърхност, е 1g и е равна и обратна на гравитацията.

Какво е гравитация?

Гравитацията е природен феномен, чрез който всички физически тела се привличат.

Какво е "g"?

С "g" измерваме ускорението, почувствано като тегло или казано по друг начин тегло за единица маса (m/s2). Един "g" е ускорението, дължащо се на гравитацията на земната повърхност и е равно на 9.80665 нютона сила на килограм маса или метра за секунда на квадрат (на географска ширина 45.5 градуса при морското равнище). Тази стойност може да варира от 9.789 m/s2 на екватора до 9.823 m/s2 на полюсите.
